With his truck not running and everyone obviously gone to bed where they wrecked, Mark sought out a old railroad shack and carried Trudy to it. The next morning a railroad worker found them and took them to the hospital. It was during this time that Mark realized just how much Trudy meant to him and he was determined to find a way they could get secretly married. A long distance relationship was hard, but Mark figured since he already knew he wanted Trudy to be his wife, this way they could have a mature relationship and see other regularly.
